THE UNBURDEN HUB INSTITUTE OF WELL-BEING
Professional certification programmes in mental health, trauma-informed care, and emotionally intelligent leadership designed for African and Nigerian communities, on the continent and in the diaspora. New programmes are added regularly as our Institute grows.
WHO WE ARE
We train the people who hold others together.
In many African and Nigerian communities, mental health is misunderstood, minimised, or hidden behind stigma and cultural expectations. Many people suffer in silence until their distress becomes severe not because they don’t need help, but because the people around them don’t yet have the tools to recognise it, name it, or respond to it well.
The Unburden Hub Institute of Well-Being exists to change that.
We offer practical, psychologically grounded, and culturally responsive training for mental health professionals, leaders, educators, and community workers who want to show up better for the people they serve, and for themselves. Our programmes span multiple disciplines and continue to grow, so whether you are here today or return tomorrow, there will always be something to deepen your practice.

Why Accreditation Matters in Mental Health Training
In a field as sensitive and high-stakes as mental health, the quality of your training is not just a professional concern it is an ethical one. The people you will serve deserve to know that the person supporting them has been trained to a verified standard. CPD accreditation is that assurance for your clients, your employers, and yourself.
